Fall like temps. remain in the forecast with freeze warnings in place

A freeze warning is in place until Saturday 8 a.m.

Cities: Alamogordo, Anthony, Deming, Las Cruces.

Counties: Dona Ana, El Paso, Luna, Sierra.

Following yesterday`s strong Pacific cold front, colder air has spread across the Borderland. With cold dry air and light winds in place tonight. The official high for Friday was 67.

Most of the lowland locations will see freezing temperatures for the first time this fall season with the exception of El Paso county and nearby locals where temperatures will drop to just above freezing.

Daytime temperatures behind the front were some 10 to 15 degrees cooler Friday and will remain so on Saturday.

Beautiful Fall weather will prevail Saturday and Sunday with temperatures warming to a little above normal by Sunday.

High clouds will begin to increase over the Borderland from the southwest Sunday ahead of our next fast moving Pacific storm system. This storm system will bring rain chances back to the region late Sunday through early Tuesday then exit quickly early

Tuesday with dry and seasonal weather expected through the rest of the week, including Thanksgiving day.

El Paso:

Tonight Low: 34, clear skies.

Tomorrow High: 62, sunny skies.

Las Cruces:

FREEZE WARNING UNTIL SATURDAY 8 AM

Tonight Low: 29, clear skies.

Tomorrow high: 60, sunny skies.
