Sun Metro offering free rides on Thanksgiving

Sun Metro is providing passengers free rides on Thanksgiving as part of Customer Appreciation Day. All customers, including those who ride LIFT and those who use paratransit services are all included. BRIO will not be in service. This service is to also help El Pasoans who are participating in the citywide celebrations, including the City of El Paso Thanksgiving Day Celebration at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center in downtown. The bus routes will be running on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Thursday from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. The Sun Metro ticket offices, located at the Bert Williams Downtown Santa Fe Transfer Center at 601 Santa Fe, and the Eastside Transit Terminal at 1165 Sunmount, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. They will reopen on Friday.

Bus services will resume a regular schedule on Friday.
