Multi-vehicle crash sends 3 people to hospital with non life-threatening injuries

The El Paso Police Department tweeted Saturday morning that 3 people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a serious crash involving multiple passenger vehicles and a semi trailer. The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. on I-10 East at Trowbridge Drive.

The trailer ended up over the median blocking both East and Westbound lanes. I-10 west traffic was being forced to exit at Geronimo Drive and I-10 east traffic at Paisano Drive as the emergency response and cleanup was ongoing Saturday morning.

ABC-7 is working to find out the cause of the crash, we will update this article as soon as more information becomes available. There were many slick roads around the area as a result of the morning rain.
