Power outages possible – Structural damage – Trees down – Difficulty driving

The StormTRACK Weather team issued an ABC-7 First Alert for an upper level disturbance that will bring very windy and cooler weather to the Borderland.

The system will bring scattered rain showers and high mountain snow showers Friday night.

Isolated areas of flooding will be possible with around 6 to 12 inches of snow over higher mountain areas.
Expect windy weather Friday with winds gusting around 45 mph ( strongest along eastern slopes).

Very windy conditions persist Saturday with winds gusting around 60 mph. Power outages, downed trees, property damage is possible. Be careful along the area roads especially while driving a high profile vehicle.
