Missing NMSU students spotted at ATM in Beverly Hills

Las Cruces Police confirmed two New Mexico State University students reported missing Tuesday were seen in Beverly Hills, California Monday.

The two women were captured on a surveillance camera Monday at an ATM. Police say the women are 18-year-old McKinnah Sinclair and 19-year-old Charlie Daniels.

The women traveled to California but failed to inform family or friends of their plans. Attempts to reach the women via cell phone or social media have been ineffective, police said, adding relatives are concerned for their welfare.

The two young women attended the Rare El Paso concert Friday, February 3, 2017 at the El Paso County Coliseum. Missing person affidavits were filed with LCPD Tuesday morning after they failed to return to Las Cruces or contact family.

The women are still considered missing and information on the two will remain in NCIC – the FBI’s National Crime Information Center clearinghouse – until they are contacted by police.

The women were last known to be in a red 2012 Ford Focus, possibly driven by Daniels. The Ford Focus has New Mexico license plate 533-TAC.
