KVIA to stream Andress and Burges Sweet 16 games Friday
KVIA.com will be streaming the Burges and Andress boys basketball Sweet 16 games beginning Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. MST. with play-by-play coverage.
For a live broadcast of the Burges game against Fort Worth Eastern Hills, simply go to the home page at 3 p.m Friday. Coverage of the Andress game will follow the conclusion of the Burges game.
Andress will take on Justin Northwest, a school located near Forth Worth, at approximately 5 p.m. MST.
Both Andress and Burges made the Sweet 16 last season, but were unable to advance any further.
This year, both teams have said they’ve learned from last year’s regional tournament games and are better prepared for the stiff competition they’ll face.
If both teams win, they would then play one another on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the right to go to the Final Four in San Antonio.
KVIA will also livestream the Elite 8 game on Saturday at 1 p.m. MST as long as it features one of the two El Paso teams.
If both Burges and Andress lose Friday, then KVIA will carry live coverage of the Anthony Elite 8 game, also at 1 p.m. MST, provided Anthony wins its game Friday in Levelland.
If all three teams lose their games Friday, KVIA will not provide any regional coverage on Saturday.
