El Paso Inc: Meyers Group to build two towers in West El Paso

The Meyers Group plans to build two towers in West El Paso, according to the El Paso Inc.

The Meyers Group plans announced last year it would build a 22-story high-rise near the intersection of Mesa and Shadow Mountain.

In this week’s edition of El Paso Inc., the group says they now plan to build two smaller towers. Both would still be 22-stories.

The height and proposed location were issues opposed by nearby residents. Many of them said they were concerned about the view and the influx of traffic.

The $100 million project includes retail space, hotel rooms, apartments and a parking garage.

The El Paso Inc. reports that each tower will have 80 condos and the project will be built in two phases.
