El Paso driver killed in chaparral crash

New Mexico State Police said the crash happened around 10 p.m. on State Road 213 near the intersection of State Road 404 near Chaparral New Mexico.

Police said 27-year-old Louise Morales from El Paso was traveling south on State Road 213 and crossed into the northbound lanes. Police said Morales struck a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction and died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to University Medical Center here in El Paso.

Police have not yet said the condition of the other person involved in the crash.
