Police need help identifying boy found in Juarez, believed to be American

The police department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is asking for help identifying a child located in Juarez, Mexico on February 22, 2017.

Police say it is possible the child is an American citizen because he understands and speaks English.

The child is described as Hispanic, 3’tall, weighing 40 pounds, with short brown hair, brown eyes, and a birthmark above the left eyebrow.

He was found wearing blue sweatpants, black shoes, and a shirt, police said.

It is possible the child’s first name is Luis.

Anybody with information about this found child is asked to call the El Paso Police Department at (915) 832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at (915) 566-8477.
