Police identify man killed outside West El Paso bar

The man killed outside a West El Paso bar was 28-year old Rudy Urias, police said.

Investigators said 30-year old Leonel Sanchez Zuniga was also wounded during a fight.

It happened at about 2:30 am March 23, 2017 outside a sports bar on the 6500 block of N. Mesa.

Police said both men were involved in a verbal argument, which escalated into a fight in a parking lot.

Urias was allegedly hit by a vehicle. When police officers arrived, they found him dead in the parking lot.

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues, police said.
