Crime Stoppers seeks information on hit-and-run driver, motorcyclist critically wounded
Crime Stoppers of El Paso is asking for help locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run the night of June 23, 2017.
At about 9 p.m, a man was riding a 2005 black Honda CBR1000 motorcycle west on I-10.
Traffic began to slow down near Geronimo and the motorcyclist followed accordingly. Police said the driver behind the motorcyclist failed to slow down, striking the victim from behind.
The collision resulted in the motorcyclist being thrown off the motorcycle. Police said the driver of the other vehicle did not stop, and continued driving, running over the victim’s legs.
Police did not identify the motorcyclist. Witnesses are describing the hit-and-run vehicle as a gray Honda Civic, believed to be a 2009-2011 model.
