Gun fired during party in Army housing, FBI investigating
Fort Bliss officials tell ABC-7 Military Police were called to a party in Army housing after they were notified of an alleged discharge of a weapon.
Officials said the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday.
“It was alleged that a fight broke out and shots fired at a party where alcohol was being served,” according to Guy Volb, Garrison Public Affairs Director. “As military police were arriving, numerous people attending the part dispersed.”
Several people were taken into custody according to Volb. “While we can confirm that shots were fired, there were no injuries,” Volb said.
Army CID and the FBI are investigating the incident currently.
