Shots fired at large party in Horizon City

Horizon City police say they responded to a shots fired call at 2am Sunday.

When officers arrived at a home in the 13 thousand 9 hundred block of Desert Song Drive they discovered someone had fired shots in front of the house.

One vehicle and a house next to the residence were struck by bullets but one one was injured by the gunfire.

Investigators determined a fight broke out during a party at the house leading to the shots being fired.

Officers recovered two handguns at the scene. Two individuals were detained for questioning.
