Affidavit: Montwood band director touched girl inappropriately at park, band room

The high school band director accused of having an improper relationship with a student allegedly touched the girl inappropriately at a park and the band room, court documents state.

Albert Licon, 38, was charged with Improper Relationship Between Student and Teacher.

Police arrested Licon, the band director at Montwood High School, and booked him into the El Paso County Detention Facility July 17, 2017. Licon’s bond was set at $25,000.

A court document obtained by ABC-7 states the accuser is a 17-year-old girl.

Investigators were told about the alleged inappropriate relationship by an unnamed source. They later met with the victim, who provided a voluntary statement.

The document states the accuser recently met Licon at a park near her home, where they allegedly kissed. Licon allegedly touched the girl inappropriately, the document states.

Licon allegedly touched the girl inappropriately on a second occasion, although the document does not reveal where it happened.

The victim told investigators, that on a third occasion, Licon touched her sexually inside the school’s band room.
