Wanted Arizona murder suspects arrested in El Paso

El Paso authorities arrested three wanted Arizona murder suspects in El Paso Friday.

Police say the murder happened in May in Mesa, Arizona. Friday, authorities arrested the three suspects in different parts of El Paso. 22-year-old Clark Lee Wylie was arrested on the 7000 block of Alameda, 24-year-old Jesus Alonso Gomez on the 4000 block of Porter and 17-year-old Tiffany Van Nest on the 400 block of Gonzales.

Once in custody, the three suspects were turned over to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit which coordinated with the Mesa Arizona Police Department.

All three are being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility on the charge of Fugitive from Justice with no bond issued. Police say the three are being held pending extradition procedures to Arizona.

Local agencies including the U.S. Marshal’s Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, the El Paso Police Gang Unit, SWAT Team and the Department of Public Safety’s Air Support Unit worked together to locate and arrest the suspects.
