Humane Society: Meet Bosco and Toby

You’ve heard the saying — opposites attract. Well as it turns out — when it comes to pets, that saying is also very true.

Meet Bosco and Toby. They’re a highly unlikely pair of dogs. Bosco is a 3 year old Australian Kettle dog mix and Toby is a 3-year-old pure bred French poodle.

Both Bosco and Toby were owner surrendered. Because of that, they are considered a bonded pair which means that the pair does everything together. From sharing a kennel to going on walks together. The pair of dogs are inseparable.

According to Ashton Martinez, an intern at The Humane Society, both dogs are the first truly bonded pets that the shelter has seen so far this year. “They’re just so attached to each other they can not be apart,” Martinez went on to say.

Both Bosco and Toby are up for adoption but if you plan on adopting one you’ll have to adopt the other, too.

“They’re each others confidant and each other’s life and they just need to be together,” said Martinez

Together — these two friends remind us differences can build the strongest bonds.
