Pebble Hills High teacher accused of having inappropriate relationship with a student
Detectives with the police department’s Crimes Against Children Unit arrested and charged a a Pebble Hills High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
38-year-old Gerardo Saucedo is charged with Improper Relationship between Educator and Student. Saucedo is on administrative leave, a district spokesperson confirmed.
Police said an investigation revealed Saucedo “engaged in an improper relationship with a person who is enrolled in the school where he works.”
Police arrested Saucedo November 20, 2017 and booked him into the El Paso County Jail.
The Socorro Independent School District emailed ABC-7 the following statement: “The safety and security of our students is our number one priority! The district is working with authorities to thoroughly investigate and will take all necessary action to ensure the safety and security of our students at Pebble Hills High School.”
