Water main break and sinkhole in west El Paso
A water main break and a sinkhole appeared in west El Paso Tuesday night.
The water started gushing on Westwind and Isla Del Rey drives, ABC-7 crews were at the scene around 7 p.m.
El Paso Water crews are working to repair the sinkhole, which appears to be around 6-feet deep.
Westwind Drive is blocked off at Isla Del Rey Drive.
Area commuters should use Brisas De Mar Drive, Loma De Cristo and Ojo De Agua drives as alternate routes.
ABC-7 is working to gather more information from El Paso Water.
