Crime Stoppers: Decapitated rabbit found outside East El Paso home

A homeowner in East El Paso found a “viciously decapitated” rabbit in front of his home, Crime Stoppers of El Paso said.

Investigators from the El Paso Police Department’s Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit are asking for the public’s help in finding the person or persons responsible for the torture and killing of this animal.

On Friday, November 10, 2017, a resident on the 2000 block of Bob Gilder, noticed the decapitated body of a white rabbit. Police said the rabbit’s head and front legs had been cut off.

The legs were found next the rest of the body, but the head was not located, police said.

Anyone with information on this case should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at 566-8477 (TIPS).
