Pedestrian hit by vehicle, suffers serious injuries

One person is in the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle, according to El Paso Police.

Police said it happened near Alameda Avenue and Stevens Street. Fire dispatch told ABC-7 they responded to the scene at around 9:30 Saturday night. Special traffic investigators were still on scene and a portion of the road was blocked off at around 1 a.m. Sunday.
