UPDATE: El Paso Police say deadly shooting was “accidentally self-inflicted”

UPDATE:

El Paso Police are clarifying information regarding a deadly shooting early Tuesday morning. Police tweeted the shooting was accidentally self-inflicted, and is not being considered a homicide.

ORIGINAL:

One person has died after a shooting in Northeast El Paso, according to El Paso Fire Department officials.

Police officers continue to investigate the shots fired call in Northeast at a trailer park.

Officers responded to the 12400 block of Desert View Ln. around 1 a.m.

It is unknown if anyone is in custody.
