UTEP football hosting town hall and scrimmage at the SAC Friday
UTEP football fans have a chance to get a glimpse of this year’s team Friday at the SISD Student Activities Complex.
The Miners will be hosting a town hall and scrimmage Friday night that is free to all fans.
The town hall will begin at 5:30 p.m., allowing fans to make suggestions about the future of UTEP athletics.
The scrimmage/practice is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Players and coaches are expected to stick around after the scrimmage to sign autographs.
Fans will not be allowed on the field except during the autograph session at the end of the night.
Tailgating will not be allowed to ensure the availability of parking.
UTEP’s 2018 football season will begin on Saturday, Sept. 1 with a home game against Northern Arizona.
