One dead, one injured in crash in Hatch, NM

New Mexico State Police confirmed with ABC-7 that one person had been killed after a crash in Hatch.

Dispatchers said the crash happened just after 1 a.m. Friday on NM State Highway 187, shutting down the road in both directions.

The road is back open.

Another person sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to University Medical Center in El Paso.
