Texas and New Mexico are ranked 28 and 29, respectively, in a new study that names the best states for doctors.
According to WalletHub.com, South Dakota is the best state for doctors and New Jersey is the worst.

To do this study, WalletHub compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia across 16 metrics. The data set includes from average annual wage of physicians, to hospitals per capita and quality of public hospital system.
