State Playoffs: Saturday High School Baseball & Softball Scores
Saturday was the day high school borderland baseball and softball teams either punched their ticket to the next round of the state playoffs or played their last games of the season.
6A Baseball Scores:
Franklin is moving on to the area round of the playoffs after beating Midland Lee twice on Saturday.

Coronado is moving on to the area round of the playoffs after beating Wolfforth Frenship twice on Saturday.

Americas’ season came to an end after the Trail Blazers lost a second game to Odessa High School on Saturday
Game 2 final: 9-3
Socorro kept its season alive after forcing a game 3 against Odessa Permian. Socorro would end up winning game 3 as well.

Bel Air defeats Chapin. The Highlanders beat the Huskies twice on Saturday:

Bowie defeats Riverside. The Rangers were unable to force a game 3 on Saturday.

Andress defeats Canutillo. The Battle of the Eagles ended with a 2-game sweep for Andress.

Centennial completed the 2 game sweep over the Albuquerque Bulldogs on Saturday.

Mayfield was eliminated from the playoffs after losing twice to the Carlsbad Cavemen on Saturday.

5A Softball Scores:
Eastlake is the only El Paso team out of 5A left in the playoffs. The Falcons completed the 2 game sweep over Lubbock High School on Saturday. Falcons are moving on to the regional quarterfinals.
