Teenager killed in wreck involving five vehicles near Horizon City
A spokeswoman with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office identified the teenager killed in a wreck Thursday afternoon as 17-year-old Sonnie Do.
Deputies responded to the wreck involving five vehicles on the 14000 block of Horizon Blvd at around 4:30 p.m.
The spokeswoman said a preliminary investigation found a Ford “work truck” was traveling southbound on Horizon, when for unknown reasons, it veered onto the northbound lane of Horizon, colliding with a vehicle and setting off a chain reaction collision involving five other vehicles.
Do was pronounced dead at the scene and two other people were transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
