UPDATE: I-10 at Sunland Park reopens earlier than anticipated

I-10 at Sunland Park has reopened earlier than expected.

The portion of I-10 was expected to be closed for 57 hours over the weekend for a third time in a row. Officials said it would reopen Monday morning at 6 AM. However, crews finished working on the project sooner than anticipated. TXDOT tweeted around 2:45 P.M Sunday: “Crews got a lot done this weekend: they demolished columns, drilled shafts for new overpass, etc.”

All lanes at I-10 at Sunland Park are now open.
