Aloft Hotel set to open in Downtown El Paso

The Aloft hotel will open on May 24th with a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 4th. The hotel has 89 rooms and will feature the WXYZ Bar. It is located in the old Bassett Tower.

“We’re so ready for it. We’ve been waiting for it and it finally came all together,” says Heidi Poole, General Manager of the Aloft.

Poole says that the Aloft Hotel is all about the experience and that they have and will continue to work with local artists and musicians to give the hotel an El Paso feel.

“It will help downtown to be hustling and bustling again. I hope it brings it back to it’s former busyness,” says Poole.

The public is welcome to go to the bar and enjoy local live music at the hotel. The hotel also has a large fitness center for guests and a conference room that can fit up to 90 people.
