8th annual Neon Desert Music Festival opens its gates to thousands

The gates for the Neon Desert Music Festival have opened up and tens of thousands of music fans
are expected to attend.

If you’re coming to see the 40 artists from local to Grammy-nominated acts that include Martin Garrix and At the Drive In there’s a few things we want to remind you about.

You are allowed to bring in small backpacks and purses and just a reminder all bags will be searched.

You are allowed to bring pocket-sized cameras but you cannot bring in a camera with a detachable lens and officials say you are allowed to bring in cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

Some things you aren’t allowed to bring are chairs of any kind, glass containers or outside food and aerosol or compressed cans like sunscreen.

And with the temperature hitting the triple digits staying cool can be an issue.

The people at NDMF partnered with Event Water Solutions.

The company will provide filling stations with an unlimited amount of free water throughout the fest.
EWS connects to existing municipal water sources like fire hydrants so they don’t run out at any time.

The company triple-filters and UV-treats the water to provide clean cold water to festival goers.

The taps they have are high flow taps allow for filling in under 5 seconds, keeping lines short.
