EPPD: Man responsible for aggravated robberies at dollar store, Payless Shoes

Police arrested a man allegedly responsible for a pair of aggravated robberies at a shoe store and a dollar store.

Malcolm Hugh Pace IV, 37, is charged with Aggravated Robbery and Robbery.

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, investigators arrested Pace on outstanding municipal warrants. Pace was additionally charged with the aggravated robbery that occurred at the Payless Shoes store on November 18, 2017 and the robbery that occurred at the Dollar General on December 22, 2017.

Police did not explain how they linked Pace to the robberies. ABC-7 has requested a criminal complaint affidavit to learn more about the investigation.

Police said Pace was booked into the El Paso County Jail on the listed charges and his bonds totaled $100,000. Additional charges are pending, police said.
