I-10 West at Lee Trevino back open after vehicle hits police unit

A vehicle hit a police unit on I-10 West near Lee Trevino Monday morning, according to the El Paso police.

Authorities closed the westbound lanes of the freeway as they investigated the crash, but it’s back open.

Police said the police unit was investigating an unrelated crash.

The police vehicle was unoccupied when it happened, according to police.
