One of the immigrants was also charged with assault, according to a release from the U.S. Border Patrol.

Border Patrol agents were called to a Sunland Park business on Tuesday after a distress call was received from the business owner.

The business owner had been assaulted after a group of undocumented immigrants had broken into his property, according the Border Patrol.

Border Patrol agents apprehended the four suspects and immediately requested assistance from Sunland Park police.

After a preliminary investigation, Sunland Park police took custody of the four suspects and charged all four with breaking into the business owner’s property. One was also charged with a count of assault.

The four suspects were identified as: Leandro Goncalves Ferreria, 25; Ueslei Da Silva Novaes, 24; Wdison De Lima Oliveira, 25; and Elson De Souza Antonio, 43. All are from Brazil and allegedly entered the country illegally, according to the release.
