Crash involving semi, car on interstate snarls traffic in West El Paso
A car traveling west on Interstate 10 collided with the rear end of a semi-truck about 12:30 p.m.
Several people are injured and traffic is being diverted off the interstate.
Traffic in West El Paso is also backed up because of a scheduled closure along Interstate 10 East from Sunland Park to Mesa. The closure is expected to last 27 hours and this portion of the freeway is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. Monday.
