Fans celebrate the nine-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death
Michael Jackson fans are remembering the music legend Monday on the nine-year anniversary of his death.
Jackson died at 50 years old from a heart attack on June 25, 2009.
He left behind three children, and a music career spanning decades.
Jackson is still known around the globe for his chart-topping and award-winning songs.
His innovative dance moves also influenced several well-known dancers.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said the King of Pop died because of “acute propofol intoxication,” and later ruled it a homicide.
Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Murray served two years of a four-year sentence.
