Nash, Yelder to be sentenced

Two former college athletes are expected to be sentenced for their roles in a bank fraud scheme.

Former UTEP basketball player Jenzel Nash pleaded guilty in April to aiding and abetting and making a false statement on a loan or credit application.

She was one of seven people arrested in January 2017.

They were accused of applying for loans and lines of credit with false information.

The group also included former NMSU football player Terrance Yelder.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
