Texas Waiter Shares ‘We Don’t Tip Terrorist’ Meal Receipt On Social Media

A Saltgrass Steak House in Odessa banned a customer for the message they wrote to a server on a receipt, according to our ABC affiliate in Odessa, Texas.

Khalil Cavil shared a photo of the $108 bill on his Facebook page, that had the message “We don’t Tip Terrorist,” written on it, and circled his name.

“At the moment I didn’t know what to think nor what to say, I was sick to my stomach,” Cavil wrote on his post.

He added that he shared the incident to inform people that “this racism, and this hatred still exists.”

A photo of the receipt was included in the post, however the guest’s information was covered.

“All day I’ve had to remind myself that Jesus died for these people too,” Cavill wrote on July 15. “I have decided to let this encourage me, and fuel me to change the world the only way I know how.”
