El Paso man accused of stabbing, killing father during domestic argument

The man accused of stabbing and killing his father during a domestic argument has been booked into the county jail after he was released from the hospital.

33-year-old Desiderio Agader III is charged with Murder. Police said 57-year old Desiderio Agader II was stabbed and killed by his son, Agader III, inside a home on the 14200 block of Valour Point Ave. in Far East El Paso.

Police responded to an aggravated assault and stabbing call just after 6 a.m. on July 18, 2018. When officers arrived, they found Agader II dead inside the home.

Detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit determined the stabbing was the result of a domestic altercation inside the home.

Police said the father suffered numerous injuries on his head and face. The son, also injured during the altercation, was hospitalized.

Once Agader III was released from the hospital, he was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on a $1-million bond.
