Football field house at El Paso High broken into, thousands of dollars in equipment stolen

A burglar or burglars broke into the El Paso High School football field house and stole thousands of dollars in equipment, the school said via its Facebook page Tuesday.

“Sadly our football field house was broken into last night and thousands of dollars of equipment was stolen,” the post states.

The school said police are investigating and it’s asking anyone who may have seen any equipment loaded into vans or trucks parked near the school to report what they saw to police.

“EPPD and our district police are investigating. Please help if you’ve seen anything suspicious last night on Cliff Street,” the post states.

The school said most of the stolen items were “technology coaches use for game prep and game day action.”
