Local teen makes a cuddly donation to the El Paso County Sheriff’s office
A girl scout and senior at Valle Verde Early College made a cuddly donation to the El Paso County Sheriff’s office.
Through Facebook, and the help of her friends and family, Amanda Hernandez collected over 200 stuffed animals. They will be given to all Sheriff’s office patrol units.
Amanda says she remembers how safe she felt during a call for service with the Sheriff’s office- and says having her favorite stuffed animal would have helped her be more at ease.
She hopes the stuffed animals she donates will comfort a child when they are being assisted by deputies.
