Back-to-school dates for Borderland districts
As students and teachers in the Socorro Independent School District head back to school on July 30, the rest of the borderland is gearing up for the first day over the following month.
Here are the back-to-school dates for other districts:
Gadsden ISD is on Aug. 6.
El Paso, Anthony, Clint, Tornillo ISDs, and most students in Las Cruces Public Schools start Aug. 13.
Ysleta, Canutillo, San Elizario and Van Horn in Culberson County begin Aug. 27.
No information on the start dates for Fabens or Clint school districts was available on their websites.
