Las Cruces police need help identifying suspects who broke into school cafeteria
Las Cruces police are looking for three young men suspected of breaking into a local high school cafeteria.
There is a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the suspects.
The burglary happened on Oct. 6 at Las Cruces High School.
Police said the suspects – possibly teenagers – entered the school and forced open a gate to the cafeteria.
Once inside the cafeteria, they stole food and drinks from the kitchen.
Damage to the cafeteria gate is believed to be more than $1,000, according to police.
All three of the suspects were captured on surveillance video.
Anyone with information that can help identify any of the suspects is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.
Those who provide tips through Crime Stoppers do not have to leave their own name and can remain anonymous.
