UTEP Soccer takes on Old Dominion

It was the last game of the season out at University Field.

The Miners took on conference foe Old Dominion in a game UTEP needed to win.

First half, Miners down a goal when Cayla Payne takes a shot and Anna Jimmerson redirects it in the net! That tied the game at 1.

Later in the first half. Crenshaw with the golden boot, takes the free kick and perfectly places it in the goal! Miners up a score!

The game would go to overtime though where it would end in a tie 2-2. The Miners face UTSA next week in San Antonio.

This is what Coach Cross had to say after the game. “Old Dominion came in here and hadn’t given up a goal in over 500 minutes so to score two against them was big. We wanted to get the win against them, but we didn’t.”
