Woman hospitalized after being hit by vehicle

A woman is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle.

It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday at North Desert Boulevard and Helen of Troy Drive.

Police did not confirm with ABC-7 how the crash happened or if anyone was taken into custody, only saying that the woman was a pedestiran and that she was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
