Vice President Mike Pence in Roswell on Friday
Vice President Mike Pence will be in Roswell, New Mexico for a campaign rally on Friday.
He will be participating in an event that is supporting GOP candidates in the Land of Enchantment, including gubernatorial candidate Steve Pearce.
The ABC affiliate in Albuquerque, KOAT, reported that Friday’s free event is called, “Rally New Mexico Red!” and will be held at 3 p.m. at the Stewart Industries Hanger at the Roswell Airport.
Yvette Herrell, who is running for Congress, and other GOP candidates will be at the rally, according to KOAT.
Pearce wants to replace Governor Susana Martinez.
He faces a challenge from Democratic Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham.
Early voting in New Mexico ends on Nov. 3.
Election Day is Nov. 6.
