Three motorcycles crash during 36th Annual Toy Run Parade

Fire officials have confirmed three motorcycles traveling as part of the 36th Annual Toy Run Parade were involved in a crash as they were heading to the County Coliseum.

Two people were taken to the hospital, but fire officials did not know the condition of their injuries.

The crash happened on Paisano Dr., near Executive Center Blvd.

Emergency scanners indicated the riders of the motorcycles were injured, but it did not sound like the injuries were serious.

The Annual Toy Run Parade is hosted by the El Paso Motorcycle Coalition. It was started by a biker who wanted to help underprivileged children in El Paso. Participants are asked to bring $10 and a toy for a child.

The ride starts in Sunland Park and ends at the El Paso County Coliseum.
