A look at what’s trending online and in the Entertainment world

Marvel Comics patriarch, Stan Lee, laid to rest in private ceremony:

Stan Lee has been laid to rest by his family in a small private ceremony. That’s according to a tweet from Lee’s company, “Pow! Entertainment,” which said it was done in accordance with his wishes that he did not want a large public funeral.

The statement did not say when the funeral was held. Lee died Monday in Los Angeles at age 95.

His company said it’s working on putting together a fitting tribute to Lee which called him “The greatest creator of our time and the father of modern pop culture.”

Monopoly for Millennials not about real estate:

“Adulting” is hard when you’re a millennial. Monopoly knows. A new version of Monopoly has hit online stores and it’s geared towards millennials.

The new version centers around people born between 1981-1996.

The tag line for the new game is “Forget real estate – you can’t afford it anyway.” In this version of the board game players don’t buy up properties. Instead they buy “Experiences” like going to a three-day music festival, a week-long meditation retreat or crashing on their friend’s couch.

Play pieces include a smilie face and a hashtag. The game is currently sold out at some online stores.
