Thanksgiving triple shooting victims identified as Salas family

A family friend identified the three victims of a triple shooting at a home in northeast El Paso on Thanksgiving Day, and provides more information on the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to a GoFundMe campaign run by close family friends, a suspect broke into the home of the Salas family shooting the 58-year-old father, who died at the home, the mother and one son.

Pablo Salas, another son of the family, said he was aware of the campaign.

The brother who was shot in the head during the incident, and the mother, who was shot in the eye, remain in the Intensive Care Unit, according to the campaign description

The investigation is ongoing and Crimes Against Persons detectives are assisting in the investigation.
