ROAD CLOSURES: Underway and upcoming

US 54 Widening and Illumination Project

Saturday, Jan. 19 through Sunday, Jan. 20
6 a.m. to 3 a.m. (21 hours)

Complete closure on US 54 north and southbound between Hondo Pass to Sun Valley. Crews will be installing overhead sign bridge. Detour: Northbound traffic will need to exit at the Transmountain exit ramp and stay on the frontage road. Detour: Southbound traffic will need to stay on the frontage road and will need to enter US 54 at the Transmountain entrance ramp. Spalling Repair Project

Saturday, Jan. 19 through Monday, Jan. 21
6 a.m. to 6 a.m. (48 hours)

Two left lane closures on Gateway Boulevard North at Fred Wilson. Crews will be repairing spalled concrete pavement in the area. Hawkins/Viscount Operation Improvements Project

Saturday, Jan. 19
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (throughout the day)

Right lane closure on Gateway Boulevard East between Robert E. Lee to Hawkins. Crews will be working on electrical work in the area. Mall Braided Ramps Project

Sunday, Jan. 20, through Monday, Jan. 21
9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

I-10 eastbound and westbound full lane closure between Viscount Boulevard and Hawkins Boulevard. Crews will be installing overhead sign bridge.

US 54 Widening and Illumination Project

Monday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan. 25
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly)

Complete closure on US 54 southbound between Transmountain to Hondo Pass. Crews will be restriping and removing barriers in the area. Detour: Southbound traffic will need to exit at the Transmountain exit ramp and re-enter at the Hondo Pass entrance ramp. U.S. 85

Monday, Jan. 21 to Thursday, Jan. 24
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (nightly full closure)

Westbound and eastbound from Spur 1966 to San Francisco Street Closure is needed for bridge work.
