Sheriff’s deputies arrest man in connection to a Tornillo murder from July 2018
Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crime unit arrested a Fabens’s man in connection to a murder in Tornillo on July 25, 2018.
Eduardo Garza Santillana, 41, was arrested on February 23, 2019.
He is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Capital Murder. He was booked at the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $2,250,00.
The two victims were 63-year-old Miguel Rivera and 44-year-old Abelardo Moreno. Both were transported to the hospital for gunshot wounds. Rivera died of his wounds at the hospital.
