Serious injuries reported after crash involving semitruck and car on Gateway West
Special Traffic Investigators were called out to the scene of a serious crash in East El Paso early Friday morning.
Police reported it just after the 4 a.m. It happened on Gateway Blvd. West and Barranca Drive. That’s near Lomaland Drive.
It involved a semitruck and a car.
Authorities said there were serious injuries, but didn’t specify how many people were hurt.
Investigators are on the scene and shut down the westbound lanes of Gateway. Authorities said the area could be closed for up to 4 hours.
Drivers can take I-10 West to avoid the area.
